How To Contribute
As an organization working to enhance our community, it's a natural that SPLASH has partnered with the Los Altos Community Foundation, a charitable foundation recognized by the IRS, to hold and manage contributions for the Los Altos Community Pool. Your donations to the Los Altos Community Pool are fully tax deductible and you will receive a confirmation verifying the tax deduction. Please make your check out to the Los Altos Community Pool Foundation and mail it to:

Credit Cards
The Los Altos Community Pool Project accepts donations using VISA or Mastercard. To donate using your credit card, please send us a letter at the address above so that we can process your donation.
Please include:
- your name (as it appears on your credit card)
- credit card mailing address
- donation amount
- credit card number
- expiration date
- your signature confirming your donation
Your credit card bill will indicate that you donated to the Los Altos Community Foundation. Your confirmation letter will confirm that the donation was earmarked for the Los Altos Community Pool Project.
Matching Gifts
Many corporations offer matching donation programs. If your company matches personal contributions to charitable organizations, you may be able to increase your contribution to the Los Altos Community Pool by completing a corporate form. If you're not sure if your company offers this program, we will be glad to inquire to keep our list of Matching Donation Programs current. Please contact the Los Altos Community Foundation or email us we'll investigate.
Transfering Stock Gifts
Making a gift of stock is a great way to support Los Altos Community Pool Project without affecting your cash flow, and the process could have significant tax benefits for you. Be sure to check with your financial consultant to discuss your personal tax impact. If you have a brokerage account, ask your broker to electronically transfer unrestricted, publicly traded stock to the Los Altos Community Pool Foundation account at Glaze Management.
